ComiGest
Desktop application for managing insurance commissions and policies.
I build Windows desktop applications for business operations. I am Daniel Castellanos (Dnjoc), a freelance developer based in Barquisimeto, Venezuela. I use Electron or Tauri with React to build tools with local data, reports and screens that fit how your business works.
I use React and TypeScript for interfaces, Electron or Tauri for the desktop application, and SQLite for local storage. ComiGest applies Electron to insurance management; ZentriBox uses Tauri for inventory, purchasing and sales. The choice depends on integrations, distribution and device requirements.
TechnologiesDelivery can include a Windows installer and updates through a custom API when agreed. Before development, we define devices, storage, backups and any synchronization with other systems. I include a 30-day warranty for bugs related to the approved scope; new features and later maintenance are quoted separately.
I work with clients outside Venezuela. Meetings are preferably in Spanish; for English-language projects, we can communicate in writing, as my conversational English is basic.

Yes. A Windows application can work with a local SQLite database. ComiGest already uses this approach for insurance commissions and policy management. Features that depend on external services or synchronization need an additional connectivity strategy.
I work with both depending on the project. ComiGest uses Electron and React and is currently in use; ZentriBox is in development with Tauri, React and TypeScript. We review integrations, installation and maintenance to choose an appropriate option.
