Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 20, 2026

I am Daniel Josue Castellanos, the person responsible for dnjoc.dev, my professional development and design portfolio. I operate from Venezuela. For privacy questions, contact me at info@dnjoc.dev.

This policy explains in simple terms what information is used when you visit the website or contact me. I do not sell your information or use it to send unsolicited advertising or newsletters.

1. Information I receive

When you use the contact form, I receive your name, email address, subject, message and, if selected, the type of service you need. If you email me directly, I receive your address and the information included in your message.

If you choose to contact me through WhatsApp, the conversation opens on that platform and the message is only sent when you confirm it. I may then receive your number, message and any profile information you have chosen to share.

The website and its security services may also process basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser and access time, to deliver the page, prevent abuse and produce general visitor statistics.

2. How I use the information

I use this information only to:

  • Respond to your inquiry and discuss the project you need.
  • Prepare proposals, estimates or information about my services.
  • Maintain our professional communication.
  • Protect the form against spam and abusive use.
  • Understand general website traffic and improve the site.

3. External services

To operate the website and receive messages, I use providers for hosting and analytics, email delivery, corporate email and spam protection. These may currently include Vercel, Resend, my email provider and Cloudflare Turnstile. They receive only the information needed to perform their function and operate under their own privacy terms.

WhatsApp is involved only if you choose to use it. Social media links also take you to external platforms with their own privacy policies.

4. Cookies and preferences

The website stores your light or dark theme preference in your browser and remembers during the session whether the welcome animation has already appeared. These preferences do not identify you and are not used for advertising.

I do not use advertising pixels or my own advertising cookies. Security services may use the technical mechanisms needed to protect the contact form. You can clear website preferences through your browser settings.

5. Retention and international processing

I keep messages for as long as needed to respond, maintain our professional relationship or meet legal and contractual obligations. The providers used by the website may retain technical records for their own periods and process information in other countries.

6. Security

I use HTTPS, form validation and controls against automated submissions. No system is completely infallible, so you should not include passwords, payment details or unnecessary sensitive information in your message.

7. Your rights and contact

You can ask what information I hold, request corrections or ask for deletion by emailing info@dnjoc.dev. Some information may need to be retained for legal, contractual or legal-claims purposes.

I will update this policy when the services used or the way information is processed changes. The current version will always show its latest update date.
